Vasily Kostyukevich, General Director of OJSC “Svetlogorsk Khimvolokno”, will make a presentation at the forum on the production of special fibers and yarns with functional properties.

The joint-stock company “Svetlogorsk Khimvolokno” is founded in 1964 and is one of the largest enterprises of the chemical industry.

The organization includes two factories: polyester textile yarn factory and artificial fiber factory and subsidiaries. The main products of the enterprise is polyester textile yarn.

About 72 percent of the company’s products are supplied to the foreign market. Main markets – Russian Federation, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Poland, Germany, Italy, Baltic States, Slovakia, Romania, Czech Republic, Tunisia, etc.

Vasily Kostyukevich will tell the most important directions in terms of innovation of the enterprise:

production of carbon fiber materials,

production of heat-resistant polyoxadiazole fibers and yarns under the brand name of Arsalan,

and also on the results of development to give polyester textile yarns functional properties, the so-called “smart threads”.
