Academician V. Agabekov will present a report on the state and development of petrochemistry in the IAAS

Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Agabekov will present at the forum a report on the state and development of petrochemistry within the International Association of Academies of Sciences.

International Association of the Academies of Sciences was created in 1993 in Kiev to facilitate cooperation between Academies of Sciences. In 2017 the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus has become the headquarters of IAAS. Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Academician Vladimir G.Gusakov was elected as the head of IAAS for a five-year term.

Currently IAAS consists of 15 full members and 8 associated members, as well as 19 scientific councils.
